Gyrocardiography: digital cardiac biomarkers that shift the economics of cardiovascular care
A patented technology that utilizes motion sensors to detect signs of heart disease. Based on a decade of academic research and algorithm development.
How it works
We use gyrocardiography, a non-invasive technique for assessing precordial micro-vibrations caused by cardiac motion with motion sensors. The technology can be utilized in any handheld device that can be placed on the chest and is equipped with the needed sensors: A gyroscope and an accelerometer. Today, these motion sensors are built in smartphones.
Gyroscope and accelerometer can detect the specific rotational movements of the heart, and produce a signal for a 6-channel analysis.

have used the technology in self-monitoring setup at home.
How is it validated
The technology has been documented in over 20 peer-reviewed publications and validated in clinical studies. For detecting atrial fibrillation, the technology has a 95.3% sensitivity, 96.0% specificity and 96% accuracy (1). We have ongoing clinical validation for several heart diseases, including heart failure, aortic stenosis, coronary artery disease, pulmonary artery hypertension and heart vitals such as VO2 max.
