  • Juuso Blomster

    CEO, Ph.D. MD Cardiologist

    Juuso Blomster (MD, PhD) is the CEO and co-founder. Dr. Blomster holds a specialist degree in cardiology and is an Adjunct Professor of Cardiology at the University of Turku, Finland. His extensive career includes several international positions in medicine and pharmaceutical industry. He was also Head Physician, Medical Assessments, and Chief Innovation Officer (Head Physician), Research Services, at Turku University Hospital.

  • Kristiina Santalahti

    CQO

    Leading clinical studies. 10+ years experience in population studies of cardiovascular diseases.

  • Ilkka Korhonen

    Chief Technology Officer

    Over 30 years’ experience in biosensors, algorithms and wearables in both international business and academia. His extensive career includes software-, technology-, and algorithm leadership positions at companies such as GE Healthcare, Meta, Firstbeat Technologies, PulseOn, Tampere University of Technology and VTT.

    Vice President, Commercial

    Markus Lind is a digital health and medical device leader focused on scaling remote‑care solutions and driving product‑led commercial growth. He has driven product and commercial efforts to bring clinically validated technologies to market. His expertise spans product development, sales leadership, and go‑to‑market strategy, supported by university degrees in economics, medical engineering, and sport biology.

    Vice President, Product

    Marko brings over 20 years of software development and product leadership experience to CardioSignal. Previously serving as CTO at CardioSignal and Chief Product Officer at Newil&Bau, he combines deep technical expertise with strategic product vision to advance cardiovascular care solutions.

  • David J Kim

    David J Kim,

    David is the Managing Director of DigiTx Partners, an investment firm focused on early-stage digital health investments. He began his venture career over two decades ago at MPM Capital and has made investments in both medtech and life sciences. Over the past decade, David has turned his focus on digital health and currently serves as a board member of Embr Labs, G-Tech Medical, NeoSensory, Mightier, Rune Labs, and WellDoc and as a board observer at Figure8 and Cleerly.

    David is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (MD) and Stanford Graduate School of Business (MBA)

  • Ursula Burns

    Ursula Burns served as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Xerox Corporation and VEON, Ltd.

    Currently, Ms. Burns serves several public, private, and non-profit boards and counsels the United States government on key policies. She serves on the Board of Directors of Uber Technologies, Inc., Endeavor Group Holdings, Inc., ExxonMobil Corporation, and IHS Holdings. She is also a member of the Mayo Clinic and the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Board of Trustees.

    Ms. Burns was also appointed by President Obama to lead the White House national program on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

  • Pauliina Martikainen

    Pauliina Martikainen is a Partner at Maki.vc, a VC firm focused on seed investments in deep tech and brand-driven companies. She splits her time between covering the Nordics and focusing on European opportunities in large markets such as Health Tech. Some of the companies she is associated with are e.g. Revela, Disior, and Pixieray.

    Prior to joining Maki.vc, Pauliina co-founded a Nordic pre-seed VC firm Wave Ventures. Before her years in venture capital, she worked in the field of marketing and communications with global brands in industries such as pharma, food, and beauty.

    Pauliina holds a M.Sc and CEMS MIM from Aalto University School of Business, and a B.Soc.Sc from the University of Helsinki.
