Diabetes is a major risk factor for atrial fibrillation, one of the most common heart rhythm disorders and the single most significant cause of ischemic stroke. With regular monitoring with CardioSignal in routine checkups, signs of atrial fibrillation can be detected as early as possible.

How CardioSignal works: 1-minute measurement

Place cobas® pulse on the patient’s chest and press ‘Start’. Instruct the patient to lie down and be still and quiet during the 1-minute measurement. CardioSignal utilizes two sensitive motion sensors to analyze heart motion. After the 1-minute measurement, the application shows whether signs of atrial fibrillation were detected.
